Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Pharmacy Technician in Birmingham, Alabama! This role is on site/in person. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:

**Type:** Four-month contract with opportunity for extension

**Schedule:** Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm

**Pay:** $23.00 to $25.00 an hour

Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician:

• Use multiple computer systems to obtain pharmacy orders, compare to order received and produce mailing labels

• Utilize the best method for product packing and shipping based on standard procedures to include type of packaging, unique conditions (i.e. refrigeration), etc. to ensure safe and secure delivery

• Prepare manual prescription orders by verifying information, pulling appropriate prescription drugs from inventory and complete necessary scanning and packaging as necessary

• Maintain various machines and equipment (e.g. IPD machines, auto packing machines)

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications for the Pharmacy Technician:

• HS Diploma or GED

• Active and good standing pharmacy technician license in Alabama

• Prior pharmacy/shipping experience preferred
