Position Summary:

Responsible for managing mailroom operations, including shipping, receiving, sorting, and distributing mail and packages. This role also includes courier duties, driving a company vehicle to deliver packages to nearby postal services and other designated locations.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Sort, process, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages.

+ Prepare shipments, apply correct postage, and ensure timely dispatch.

+ Receive and verify incoming packages; check packing slips for accuracy.

+ Maintain accurate records of shipments and deliveries.

+ Operate mailroom equipment (postage meters, scales, scanners).

+ Drive company vehicle to deliver packages to local postal services and other destinations.

+ Ensure compliance with company safety and delivery protocols.

+ Provide excellent customer service and timely communication regarding mail and package status.

+ Perform light maintenance and housekeeping duties in the mailroom.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

+ 1–2 years of experience in mailroom operations, shipping/receiving, or courier services preferred.

+ Basic computer skills (MS Office, email).

Skills & Abilities:

+ Strong organizational and time-management skills.

+ Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.

+ Knowledge of shipping procedures and postal regulations.

+ Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Working Conditions:

+ Office/mailroom environment with occasional driving for deliveries.

+ Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the day.
