Job Title: Quality Technician
Job Description
As a Quality Technician, you will work in the quality lab, sensory station, and end-of-line packaging quality control. Your daily tasks will include conducting bench top chemistry, taking vials of bourbon, placing them in a testing machine, and recording the results in Excel and the internal system.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct various types of analysis on products including water, raw materials, in-process liquid, finished liquid, and finished packages.
+ Set up sensory evaluations and report results using RedJade Software.
+ Provide pre and post sensory setup support, including cleaning glasses, watch glasses, cylinders, and spittoons.
+ Operate packaging material equipment such as bore profilers and vacuum chambers.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in chemistry and biology.
+ Experience in quality assurance, quality control, and quality inspection.
+ Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Degree in Science, Chemistry, or Biology.
+ Preferred lab experience.
Work Environment
The position is based in a bottling facility and distillery. The quality lab is a single room filled with several machines, while the sensory stations are located in a conference room. All personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided except for steel-toed shoes. The role offers a Monday to Friday first shift schedule from 8 am to 5 pm, with no overtime. This is a 6-month contract with the opportunity to extend, in a fun bourbon production environment where you can learn new testing methods from skilled chemists.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
