LVN Service Care Coordinator
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (OT as needed)
Position Overview
We are seeking an LVN Service Care Coordinator to join the Specialty Authorization Team. This team processes authorizations and follow-ups for DME, MHM, DAHS, and reductions/denials, supporting high-volume workloads with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness. The Care Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring members receive the best possible care by managing authorizations, maintaining production and quality standards, and collaborating with team members in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
+ Process authorizations and follow-ups for specialty services (DME, MHM, DAHS, etc.)
+ Multi-task across multiple monitors and applications while maintaining accuracy
+ Utilize work guides and resources to ensure compliance and efficiency
+ Meet performance standards: 97% quality (audits), 98% production, and 0–5% error rate
+ Communicate and collaborate with team members via group IMs for daily check-ins
+ Support cross-training initiatives to assist in multiple functions within the team
Candidate Requirements
+ Licensure: LPN/LVN license
+ Experience: Minimum 2+ years in a managed care environment or working with individuals with disabilities, chronic, or complex conditions, Home Health
+ Skills:
+ Experience supporting vulnerable populations
+ Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
+ Ability to meet production and quality metrics in a remote setting
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of San Antonio, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
