Position Summary
The Project Engineer will lead and support capital and maintenance projects within a large-scale manufacturing facility. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while meeting operational and quality standards. The position requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
+ Project Planning & Execution:
+ Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
+ Coordinate design, procurement, and installation activities.
+ Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
+ Technical Support:
+ Provide engineering solutions to improve reliability, efficiency, and sustainability of production processes.
+ Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and vendor documentation.
+ Stakeholder Coordination:
+ Work closely with operations, maintenance, and contractors to minimize downtime and optimize resources.
+ Communicate project status and risks to leadership and stakeholders.
+ Continuous Improvement:
+ Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
+ Support implementation of new technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
+ 3+ years of experience in industrial project engineering or manufacturing environment.
+ Strong knowledge of project management principles and tools.
+ Familiarity with equipment installation, process systems, and industrial safety standards.
+ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
+ Experience with large-scale process systems (e.g., thermal, chemical, or material handling).
+ Proficiency in CAD software and project management tools.
+ Knowledge of reliability engineering and preventive maintenance strategies.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Jacksonville, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/hr.
