Food Microbiology Technician – Entry Level (Great Growth Opportunity!)

• What You’ll Do:

+ Perform general food microbiology testing, including pathogenic micro analysis, following established protocols and under the guidance of the Quality Assurance Supervisor.

+ Revise, edit, and create quality documents to maintain compliance and accuracy.

+ Accurately count and record micro plate counts.

+ Assist in processing samples from receipt through testing, ensuring thorough documentation and timely completion of all steps.

+ Enter data into internal electronic systems and communicate promptly with QA leadership.

+ Follow strict GMP/GLP guidelines to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.

What We’re Looking For:

+ 1–2 years of experience in microbiology testing or food analysis lab work.

+ Prior QA/QC experience in food manufacturing is a plus.

+ Associate degree or BS in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology, or a related field is preferred.

+ Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to thrive in a team environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ayer, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
