Hiring a Lab Technician for a Chemistry Lab in Sacramento, CA

About the Role

We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Lab Intern to join our Chemistry Department. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a scientific environment, no prior lab experience or degree required. If you have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and thrive in fast-paced settings, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

+ Assist with daily laboratory operations, including sample preparation and basic testing.

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following all safety protocols.

+ Accurately label, store, and track samples and materials.

+ Support data entry and documentation of test results.

+ Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.

What We’re Looking For

+ Reliability and punctuality – consistent attendance is critical.

+ Strong work ethic – ability to stay focused and complete tasks efficiently.

+ Attention to detail – follow instructions and maintain accuracy in all tasks.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

+ Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.

Preferred Experience

+ Experience in food service, manufacturing, or other fast-paced roles is a plus.

+ Interest in science or learning new technical skills (training provided).

+ Okay with night shift, day shift, or evening shift. Need flexibility.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
