Our work depends on you, as Advanced Software Developer, joining the Navy and Marine Corps Sector to lead a multi-disciplinary team of highly skilled individuals to support development, design, prototyping, low-rate production, demonstration, test, integration, technical installation, transition through Initial Operational Capability (IOC), and maintenance in the domains of cyber, Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA), situational awareness, data management and dissemination, and other rapid capability software requirements with the ASI Division in support of Department of Navy (DON), Department of Defense (DoD), and other Government agency projects.

     

    Essential Job Functions/Duties

     

    Dignitas Technologies is seeking a motivated Advanced Software Developer in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Webster Outlying Field (WOLF), Airborne Systems Integration (ASI) Division. As an Advanced Software Developer, you will execute software planning, requirements, risk management, design, development, architecture, modeling, estimation, configuration management, quality, security, and tests using software development methodologies, architectural structures, viewpoints, styles, design decisions, and frameworks across all lifecycle phases. You will research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. You may work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements. You may maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.

    Specific Required Skills

    The Advanced Software Developer Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs

    • Update software or enhance existing software capabilities

    • May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and to develop specifications and performance requirements

    Desired Skills

     

    Executive Network Software Support experience

     

    Supervisory Responsibility

     

    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

    Required Education and Experience

    • BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution

    • Ten (10) years or more experience in Software Development

    • Five (5) years working with DOD Software

    • M0923W1 OR Certified in Governance Risk and Compliance (CGRC) or SecurityX or Cloud+ or PenTest+ or Security+ or GSEC

     

    Additional Eligibility Qualifications

     

    + Must currently have Top Secret Clearance

    + Must be a US Citizen

    + Travel 10%
