Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
As a Non-FAA Production Associate, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks and processes to complete electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies. This includes tasks such as soldering, cable assembly, machine operation, final assembly, PCB work, machine crimping, and ribbon cable assembly. You will follow established methods and procedures to ensure these tasks are completed as directed by manufacturing schedules with limited supervision.
Responsibilities
+ Hand solder wires to electrical connectors and PCBs.
+ Assemble electromechanical assemblies as required.
+ Review and complete required production documentation.
+ Read and understand moderately complex assembly instructions.
+ Comprehend written and verbal assignments.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in production, general labor, and assembly.
+ Proficient in soldering and using hand tools.
+ Ability to work with soldering assemblies, blueprints, electronic assemblies, and in cleanroom environments.
+ Knowledge of surface-mount technology (SMT).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Experience in electronic assembly and SMT is a plus.

Work Environment
Our facility spans 154,000 square feet and is temperature-controlled, housing over 550 people. We operate 7 SMT lines. The first shift runs Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, and the second shift runs Monday through Thursday from 2:30 pm to 1:00 am, offering a shift differential rate.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
