    Immediate Hirring For Production Associate

    Job Description

    We are seeking motivated production team members for our location in East Moline, IL. The production associate will be responsible for completing various tasks and projects throughout the warehouse, including but not limited to working in the Cell, Saw Operator, Receiving, Shipping, and handling work orders. You will play a crucial role in pulling copper tubing and pipe for shipments to major customers such as Menards, Lowes, and Home Depot. The wire needs to be covered with protective tubing and boxed safely and correctly before being processed for shipping.

    Responsibilities

    + Move pipe to pick locations.

    + Pull orders accurately.

    + Bar code and label pipe.

    + Bundle and wrap pipe.

    + Cut pipe according to cut sheets.

    + Segregate and identify scrap materials.

    + Wrap products for shipment securely.

    + Unload trucks when necessary.

    + Load outbound shipments efficiently.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in production tasks.

    + Experience with general labor.

    + Ability to use hand tools.

    + Skill in machine operating.

    + Inventory management capabilities.

    + Loading and unloading expertise.

    + Shipping and receiving knowledge.

    + Assembly skills.

    + Attention to detail for labeling and packaging.

This position offers the opportunity to grow within the company, even with minimal experience in a warehouse setting. Once trained and cross-trained (typically within 1-3 weeks), you will be eligible for production incentives, including additional hourly rates for Tier 1 and Tier 2 performance.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is non-climate controlled, meaning it can be hot during summer months and cold in winter. Noise levels can vary from quiet to moderate and occasionally loud, depending on department activities and tool usage.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Moline, IL.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
