Job Title: Controls Technician

Job Description

As a Controls Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting industrial controls equipment. You will provide electrical and controls support for production operations and the maintenance department, ensuring that plant automated equipment, robots, PLCs, and process control equipment function as designed. You will also be responsible for minor PLC and HMI software changes, as well as improvements and troubleshooting of existing equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain and troubleshoot industrial controls equipment.

+ Provide electrical and controls support for production and maintenance departments.

+ Ensure all plant automated equipment and process control equipment function properly.

+ Perform minor PLC and HMI software changes and troubleshoot existing equipment.

+ Collaborate with production, maintenance supervisors, operators, vendors, and service providers to troubleshoot and improve processes.

+ Adhere to all Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.

+ Work with engineers and technicians on deploying new automated process equipment.

+ Assist engineers in layout and fabrication of machine control panels.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Weirton, WV.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
