3rd shift Production Assembler

$15.45/hr. $18 when perm (90 day contract to hire)

Job Description

Join a leading global full-service automotive supplier specialising in complex metal, plastic, and hybrid structures. This position is vital in producing components for top automotive brands, ensuring high-quality products that meet stringent industry standards.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate assembly equipment as assigned.

+ Perform die change and set-up duties.

+ Load and unload parts in and out of welders, dies, trunions, and assembly fixtures.

+ Operate equipment that welds, stamps, presses, crimps, stakes, and rivets parts and sub-assemblies together.

+ Perform manual assembly, welding, and tapping operations as required.

+ Ensure the quality and quantity of parts produced meet required specifications and production rates.

+ Perform light, routine maintenance on assigned equipment.

+ Complete all necessary paperwork associated with the job, including start-up checklist, pre-shift inspection sheet, labor tickets, scrap records, downtime tracking sheets, quality assurance checks, and product identification tags.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in either manufacturing or warehouse settings.

+ Ability to work at a very fast pace.

+ Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/move throughout the entire shift.

+ Must have steel-toed boots.

+ Willingness to work third shift from 9:45 pm to 6:15 am, Monday through Sunday.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Preferred but not required: industrial, manufacturing, or construction experience.

+ Preferred but not required: experience with hand and power tools.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.45 - $15.45/hr.
