Job Available for Warehouse / Installation Technician

***Location:** Des Moines, IA

***Employment Type:** Full-Time

***Overview:** A leading provider of commercial interior solutions is seeking a motivated Warehouse / Installation Technician to join its Des Moines team. This role combines hands-on warehouse operations with on-site installation of furniture and architectural products in office, healthcare, and educational environments.

*Key Responsibilities:

+ Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments of furniture and materials

+ Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts and other equipment

+ Prepare products for delivery and installation, including staging and packaging

+ Assist with the delivery and professional installation of furniture and architectural elements at client sites

+ Follow detailed floor plans and installation instructions to ensure accuracy and quality

+ Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and adhere to safety protocols

+ Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and clients

+ Perform basic repairs and adjustments to furniture as needed

*Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Prior experience in warehouse operations or furniture installation preferred

+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods

+ Comfortable using hand and power tools

+ Valid driver’s license and clean record

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $26.00/hr.
