Como obrero calificado, utilizarás herramientas manuales y eléctricas para ensamblar estructuras, cargar y descargar materiales, y ayudar en la instalación de equipos en toda la planta.

Responsabilidades

+ Utilizar herramientas manuales y eléctricas para tareas de ensamblaje.

+ Cargar y descargar materiales de manera eficiente.

+ Ayudar en la instalación de equipos en la planta.

+ Realizar tareas relacionadas con la producción de concreto.

Habilidades esenciales

+ Experiencia en trabajo general, construcción y producción.

+ Dominio en el uso de herramientas manuales y eléctricas.

+ Capacidad para operar herramientas de medición.

+ Se requiere hablar español.

+ Experiencia en un entorno de trabajo industrial pesado.

Habilidades y calificaciones adicionales

+ Capacidad para levantar más de 50 libras de manera constante.

+ Se prefiere experiencia previa en construcción o fabricación industrial pesada.

Entorno laboral

Este puesto se desarrolla en una planta de fabricación tanto interior como exterior, caracterizada por un entorno de trabajo manual pesado. Los trabajadores deben estar preparados para temperaturas variables y jornadas largas llenas de tareas físicas como agacharse, estar de pie y levantar objetos. El primer turno comienza a las 7:00 a. m., con horarios de trabajo de 10 a 12 horas, de lunes a viernes, y pronto se extenderá a los sábados. Se proporcionan 30 minutos para el almuerzo y dos descansos de 15 minutos. Se requieren zapatos con punta de acero y protectores metatarsales, y la empresa suministra todo el equipo de protección personal (EPP) adicional.

Job Title: Skilled Laborer

Job Description

Join a dynamic team at our newly opened plant in Florence, TX, where you'll be integral to our concrete production operations. As a skilled laborer, you'll utilize hand and power tools to assemble structures, load and unload materials, and assist in setting up equipment throughout the plant.

Responsibilities

+ Utilize hand and power tools for assembly tasks.

+ Load and unload materials efficiently.

+ Assist in setting up equipment around the plant.

+ Perform tasks related to concrete production.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in general labor, construction, and production.

+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.

+ Ability to operate measuring tools.

+ Spanish speaking is required.

+ Experience in a heavy industrial work environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to lift over 50 lbs consistently.

+ Previous experience in construction or heavy industrial manufacturing is preferred.

Work Environment

This role is based in an indoor and outdoor manufacturing plant, characterized by a heavy manual labor environment. Workers should be prepared for varying temperatures and long days filled with physical tasks such as bending, standing, and lifting. The first shift starts at 7:00 am, with working hours ranging from 10-12 hours, Monday through Friday, and soon extending to Saturday. Employees are provided with 30 minutes for lunch and two 15-minute breaks. Steel-toed shoes and met guards are required, with all other PPE supplied by the company.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
