    Job Description

    Join our team as an HVAC Maintenance Tech Helper, where you will primarily perform maintenance work for residential customers in and around Oakland County. Your tasks will include conducting tune-ups, filter changes, inspections, cleaning coils and parts, checking refrigerant levels, and inspecting electrical connections to ensure units are running efficiently.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct HVAC maintenance and tune-ups for residential customers.

    + Perform filter changes and inspections of HVAC systems.

    + Clean coils and parts of HVAC units.

    + Check refrigerant levels and inspect electrical connections.

    + Ensure HVAC units are operating efficiently.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 6 months of residential HVAC work experience.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver heavier items with assistance.

    + Capability to carry ladders and work from heights and in small crawl spaces.

    + Valid driver's license and a good driving record.

    + EPA Certification.

    + Strong customer service skills, including effective communication of issues and solutions.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with residential and commercial HVAC systems.

    + Troubleshooting skills for HVAC equipment.

    + Knowledge of installation and repair of HVAC systems, including RTU's and mini splits.

    + Understanding of electrical components related to HVAC systems.

    Work Environment

     

    Work involves a combination of commercial and residential tasks, with 50-60% residential work, 30% new construction, and 10-20% commercial work. You will be driving between sites in a company vehicle, working both inside and outside of customer locations.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
