Machine Operator – 3rd Shift (Union City)

**Shift:** Monday–Friday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

About the Role

Join a leading chocolate manufacturer as a **Machine Operator** on our 3rd shift team! You’ll be an essential part of the production process, ensuring quality and efficiency while working in a supportive environment.

What You’ll Do

+ Operate and monitor machinery to meet production standards

+ Lift and handle boxes or bags (35–50 lbs) throughout your shift

+ Use automated equipment to seal bags and assemble pallets

+ Complete hourly documentation (metal detection, scale sheets)

+ Collect samples for **QC/QA** and assist with quality checks

+ Perform general labor tasks: packaging, sanitation, and pallet jack operation

What We’re Looking For

+ Ability to **read/write** for accurate documentation

+ Comfortable lifting **35–50 lbs** consistently

+ Team player who can also work independently

+ Minimum height of **5’5”** (required for machine operation)

+ Previous machine operation or production experience preferred

Work Environment

+ Clean, well-organized facility with varying temperatures:

+ Depo Room: Comfortable

+ Panning Room: Cooler

+ Refining Room: Up to 95°F in summer

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Union City, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
