Job Title: Quality Control Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our production processes are efficient and meet our high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
+ Ensure new workers are trained accordingly.
+ Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
+ Work closely with other Production Supervisors to ensure production handovers are effective.
Essential Skills
+ Bi-lingual Spanish is required for effective communication with production staff.
+ Positive attitude and pleasant personality with the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with diverse populations and personalities.
+ Ability to keep emotions under control and exhibit professional behavior.
+ Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
+ Understanding of principles, practices, and procedures of the food manufacturing environment.
+ Ability to lead and motivate others to achieve productivity goals.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in quality control, quality assurance, food manufacturing, and packaging quality.
+ Inspection, packaging, and production skills.
+ Above average concentration and intensity.
+ Above average memory.
+ Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Work Environment
The work environment is a standard food production warehouse, operating on the 1st shift from 7am to 3pm in the Cookies Production – Mixing/Mini Pan department. You will work near moving equipment and machinery, with exposure to moderate to loud noise and fluorescent lighting. The cleanliness and sanitation of the work area is crucial, and the environment includes the smells of cookies and other food products. Products manufactured may contain peanuts and tree nuts. The typical work schedule includes 8-hour shifts with Saturdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Brunswick, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $19.75/hr.
