    Job Title: Setup Technician

    Job Description

    As a Setup Technician, your day-to-day tasks will involve addressing calls from the production line to troubleshoot issues with injection molding machines and conveyors. This role closely resembles that of an entry-level maintenance mechanic. You will be responsible for changing molds and colors, and checking time, heat, and pressure levels to ensure machinery operates efficiently. Additionally, you will stop and restart machines/conveyors using computer/tablet systems and perform cleaning tasks such as vacuuming and managing resin/fall-off.

    Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot issues with injection molding machines and conveyors.

    + Change molds and colors to meet production requirements.

    + Monitor and adjust time, heat, and pressure levels for optimal machine performance.

    + Operate computer/tablet systems to stop and restart machines/conveyors.

    + Perform routine cleaning tasks, including vacuuming and managing resin/fall-off.

    Essential Skills

    + Mechanical aptitude is required.

    + Experience in maintenance, heavy equipment, troubleshooting, or mechanical fields.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Prior experience with injection mold setting is a significant advantage.

    + Experience with machine changeovers and setups is a plus.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sheridan, AR.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.87 - $27.91/hr.
