Process Technician (Machine Operators)

1st shift 7:00am to 3:30pm Kearny Mesa $18.00/hr-$19.50/hr

Job Description

A Process Technician performs a variety of functions associated with manufacturing operations. This role involves working closely with engineers and operators on set-up and calibration tasks, as well as conducting rework and quality testing for parts, components, subassemblies, and final products.

Responsibilities

+ Will perform set-up and basic troubleshooting of equipment to prep for processing

+ Must be able to operate and set-up basic process or production equipment

+ Troubleshooting experience

+ Working with small parts

+ Will use microscope about 20-40% of the day

+ Good hand dexterity, attention to detail, able to follow instructions and fast-paced environment

Essential Skills

+ Experience as a process technician in manufacturing, clean room, or semiconductor environments.

+ Proficiency in inspection and process operation.

+ Ability to set-up and troubleshoot automated process equipment.

+ Experience with microscope inspection and cleanroom protocols.

+ Proficient in Excel for data entry and graph creation.

+ Ability to read specifications and mechanical drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High School diploma or GED required.

+ 1-2 years of prior manufacturing experience.

Work Environment

The work environment is a microelectronic cleanroom manufacturing setting with approximately 30 employees. It is a controlled, deadline-driven, and quality-focused environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr.
