    Job Title: Forklift Operator

    Job Description

    Operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, and transport heavy materials within the facility. Move and organize products manually when required. Inspect forklift equipment daily and report any maintenance issues. Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines. Assist with inventory control and ensure accurate product placement. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with team members to meet production and shipping deadlines.

    Responsibilities

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Valid forklift certification and proven experience operating a sit-down forklift.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

    + Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

    + Good communication and teamwork skills.

    The work environment is in a smaller shop with a positive culture. Although it is not climate controlled, the facility has open bay doors that are closed during harsh weather.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, TN.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.00/hr.
