Job Title: Laborer

Job Description

Join our dynamic team in installing conveyor systems at a prominent manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate must be mechanically inclined, possess their own tools, and have the ability to read prints and schematic drawings. Previous experience in conveyor installation or industrial machinery installation is highly desirable. A valid OSHA 10 certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

+ Install conveyor systems efficiently and accurately.

+ Interpret and follow blueprints and schematic drawings for installation.

+ Utilize hand and power tools for mechanical assembly.

+ Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and regulations.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematic drawings.

+ Mechanical assembly skills.

+ Ability to read a tape measure accurately.

+ Experience with hand and power tools.

+ Minimum of 2 years of construction experience, specifically in conveyor installation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Capability to read and follow detailed work instructions.

+ Possession of reliable transportation.

Work Environment

This role involves working in a high-volume production environment and construction site. Employees must have their own personal protective equipment, including hard hats and vests. Shifts are demanding, with first shift running from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, and night shift from 7:30 PM to 7:00 AM, providing a chance for plenty of overtime.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.50/hr.
