    Job Title: Machine Operator

     

    $23-29/hr

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operators for multiple shifts. The role involves learning and operating equipment such as the burnisher, straightener, saw, and buffer to produce high-quality products. The position also involves using an overhead crane, plate blaster, and forklift to maintain tube line equipment.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform welding repairs to seam splits on manufactured tubes.

    + Operate a forklift to move material in the shop areas.

    + Perform various duties as requested by the supervisor to ensure customer requests are met.

    + Maintain a productive working environment to manufacture high-quality products safely and efficiently.

    + Perform regular preventative maintenance on all equipment in assigned areas.

    Essential Skills

    + Machine operation and mechanical skills.

    + General labor and machine operating experience.

    + Experience with grinding, hand tools, fabrication, and welding.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to perform basic math functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.

    + Ability to pass a forklift test from the safety department.

    + Ability to read a tape measure.

    + Ability to prioritize work to complete deadlines.

    + Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.

    + Capability to work through and solve practical problems.

    + Ability to work timely and expeditiously to deliver on-time, high-quality results.

    + Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, with most frequent lifts up to 10 pounds.

    Work Environment

     

    This role is set in a heavy industrial environment, requiring adherence to safety policies and procedures. The position reports to the Small Pole department’s Production Supervisor and demands excellent safety practices.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valley, NE.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.99 - $24.99/hr.
