Job Title: First Shift Assembler
About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented **Assembler** to join our first shift team. In this role, you will primarily fasten and assemble metal components used in automated laundry systems. The ideal candidate is flexible, team-oriented, and willing to assist in other areas of the shop when needed.
Key Responsibilities
+ Assemble and fasten metal parts for laundry systems.
+ Assist with loading orders onto trucks or couriers and provide items to will-call customers.
+ Attach packing slips to outgoing orders.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping, trash removal, and general shop upkeep.
+ Support material handling and other shop tasks as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
+ Flexibility to assist across different shop duties.
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints and assembly instructions.
+ Experience using hand and power tools.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Mechanical assembly experience.
+ Steel-toed boots required.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (most items are lighter).
+ Comfortable standing for extended periods throughout the shift.

Work Environment
+ Full-time position in a new facility located just north of TCF Bank Stadium, University of Minnesota area.
+ Warehouse/assembly environment working with metal parts for automated laundry systems.
+ Multiple shift options available, including early morning and evening shifts.
+ Requires standing for the entire shift and regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
