    Position Summary

    Are you passionate about transforming data into actionable insights and streamlining analytical workflows? Join CVS Health as a Manager, Forecasting & Analytics on the Rx Portfolio Growth & Analytics team, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of pharmacy analytics. This position sits within the broader Pharmacy Growth organization and supports strategic initiatives across the Retail Pharmacy business.

     

    As a leader on the team, you will drive the development of robust, efficient, and scalable data pipelines and analytical solutions. You’ll leverage modern data platforms and tools to deliver actionable insights that inform business decisions, reduce manual effort, and improve operational efficiency. A growth mindset, technical curiosity, and a passion for continuous improvement are essential for success in this role.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Collaborate cross-functionally to support the annual CVS Retail Rx Budget (1.8B+ scripts) and weekly performance reporting.

    + Lead the development and maintenance of automated data pipelines and analytical workflows using tools such as SQL, Python, PySpark, and platforms like Snowflake and Palantir Foundry.

    + Replace manual forecast and analytics processes with scalable, code-driven solutions that integrate seamlessly with the team’s existing tools.

    + Build and maintain performance dashboards and reporting tools that provide timely, actionable insights into prescription trends and business performance.

    + Conduct end-to-end analysis across the data lifecycle: from discovery and preparation to modeling, communication of results, and operationalization.

    + Mentor and develop junior colleagues, fostering a culture of technical excellence, curiosity, and continuous learning.

    + Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to proactively identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.

    Required Qualifications

    + 3+ years of experience in data analysis, forecasting, or business intelligence.

    + 2+ years of hands-on experience with at least one programming language (e.g., SQL, Python, PySpark).

    + Demonstrated experience building automated, scalable analytics solutions in cloud-based platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Foundry).

    + Strong understanding of the full data analysis lifecycle and ability to lead projects from ideation to implementation.

    + Proven ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly and apply them effectively.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + 3+ years of experience in analytics, consulting, or a related field.

    + Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and Excel automation (e.g., Power Query, macros).

    + Experience building business cases and identifying growth opportunities through data.

    + Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for executive audiences.

    + Demonstrated leadership and team development capabilities.

    Education

    Bachelor’s degree required (in a quantitative or technical field preferred) or equivalent work experience.

    Pay Range

    The typical pay range for this role is:

    $66,330.00 - $145,860.00

     

    This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
