Huntington Capital Markets Data & Insights Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering various swathes of data from sources throughout our company and turning that data into actionable intelligence for the capital markets and investment banking teams. The business management team will use an industry standard Client Relationship Management (CRM) platform, along with a variety of analytics tools, to deliver this information to our business partners and management team. Our new colleague will take primary responsibility for the integrity of these data systems by interacting with our Managing Director-level investment bankers and the senior Management team members and senior investment bankers and a hands-on management team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

+ Maintains, monitors, updates assigned business process and/or system.

+ Research complex problems and acts independently to resolve.

+ Analyzes existing business process and or systems and determines technical or procedural improvements and implements changes.

+ Develops and provides documentation for users and training purposes.

+ Develops operational procedures for products, services and systems supported.

+ Designs processes to meet regulatory requirements.

+ Develops and generates specialized and ad hoc reports.

+ Analyzes reports and makes recommendations for improvements in processes and /or systems.

+ Provides technical support to business unit, customers, management and other users.

+ Acts as liaison between software vendors and process/system users or between users and other corporate areas.

+ May serve as lead analyst in training or projects.

+ Plan and execute projects involving data architecture, data management, and reports.

+ Manage, maintain and integrate our database technologies.

+ Test and improve data quality and ensure that key metrics are kept up to date.

+ Build and maintain dashboards to identify trends and insights and help optimize performance.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelors degree.

+ At least 5 years of experience in a business analyst role with SQL, Python, Tableau, & Excel.

+ High School diploma with 9 years of experience/education with planning and executing projects involving data architecture, data management, and reports may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ 5 or more years of experience in a business analyst role within commercial banking or capital markets.

+ Advanced analytical and mathematical skills.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

+ Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities and solutions.

+ Ability to prioritize multiple projects.
