Description We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our team in Bronx, New York. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in managing payroll operations and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with a strong background in payroll systems and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll efficiently and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy.

• Maintain and update employee records, handling approximately 40 files per month.

• Utilize EV6 and organizational systems to manage payroll-related data with precision.

• Facilitate wage increases, union dues, and reporting requirements as needed.

• Collaborate closely with the HR team during the initial months, transitioning to independent responsibilities thereafter.

• Act as a liaison between the Payroll department and other stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues effectively.

• Support compliance with payroll regulations and organizational policies.

• Ensure timely completion of onboarding requirements such as clearance checks and training. Requirements • Proven expertise in full-cycle payroll processes, including multi-state payroll.

• Experience working with payroll systems such as EV6 and ADP Workforce Now.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage payroll for over 500 employees.

• Familiarity with organizational compliance and reporting requirements.

• Excellent collaboration skills to work within a team-oriented HR environment.

• Ability to adapt and transition to independent ownership of payroll tasks.

• Successful completion of background checks and training programs.

• Knowledge of payroll regulations and best practices.
