Description We are looking for a skilled Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with banking and loan requirements, and provide critical insights to support organizational goals. This contract position is based in Richmond, Michigan, and requires someone with strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing financial data and fostering productive relationships with banking partners.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and manage loan applications, renewals, and related documentation to align with company objectives.

• Compile and analyze financial data to support loan requests and meet reporting requirements for banking partners.

• Facilitate meetings and negotiations with financial institutions, ensuring clear communication of complex financial details.

• Prepare accurate and comprehensive documentation, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

• Maintain secure and organized records of banking documentation and loan agreements.

• Monitor loan compliance, payment schedules, and covenant requirements, addressing discrepancies promptly.

• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and executive teams to align banking activities with organizational goals.

• Evaluate existing banking processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.

• Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations and standards.

• Support month-end close activities, including reconciliation and preparation of journal entries. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

• Proven experience in managing loan administration and banking communications.

• Advanced knowledge of financial data analysis, reporting, and banking regulations.

• Proficiency in month-end close processes, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliation.

• Expertise in preparing and auditing financial statements and journal entries.

• Strong skills in Office applications, particularly Excel; familiarity with financial management tools is a plus.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with banking partners and internal teams.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high accuracy.
