    JOB TITLE: 2nd Shift **Production Technician**

    STATUS: Full-time; Hourly

     

    REPORTS TO: Value Added Operations Manager

     

    SALARY CLASS: Hourly-Salaried Non-Exempt-(JBS is a competitive equal opportunities employer. Salaries vary depending on education and experience).

    JOB SUMMARY

    Audit all products that are produced in the Value Added room and ensuring that products produced meet company product specification requirements. Perform packaging leaker audits on finished product. Verify and document all packaging requirements are met on product being shipped out. Documentation detail is extremely important.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

    + Audit 100% of any product that is produced in the Value-Added Room

    + Monitor employee GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices)

    + Monitor SSOPs (Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures)

    . Perform leaker audits on the Multivac Packages

    . Verify dates and labels of all products being produced in the Value Added Room

    . Monitor product and room temperature according to Food Safety regulations and document

    . Assist in any other quality verifications that could be needed.
