Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining critical information while ensuring data integrity. This position requires a high level of precision, organizational skills, and proficiency with technology.

Responsibilities:

• Input and update data accurately into various systems and databases.

• Verify the accuracy of information and ensure data consistency.

• Manage numeric data entry tasks with speed and precision.

• Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team to support their data-related needs.

• Organize and maintain electronic records for easy access and retrieval.

• Perform regular audits to identify and correct any discrepancies.

• Utilize software tools to enhance efficiency in data processing.

• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

• Adhere to company policies and procedures when handling data.

• Communicate effectively with team members to resolve data-related issues.

Requirements • Proven experience in data entry or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in computer-based data entry tasks.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy.

• Familiarity with numeric data entry and typing at an efficient speed.

• Solid organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Basic understanding of Accounts Payable processes is a plus.

• Proficiency in using data entry software and Microsoft Office applications.
