Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to efficient financial operations while developing your expertise in accounts payable processes. Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices accurately and ensure proper verification of purchase orders and receipts.

• Maintain timely and accurate payments to vendors, resolving any discrepancies promptly.

• Manage and update financial records to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Assist with month-end closing activities, including reconciliations and reporting.

• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to address inquiries and ensure smooth operations.

• Perform account coding and invoice coding tasks to facilitate accurate payment processing.

• Handle Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and oversee check runs.

• Collaborate with the finance team to optimize accounts payable workflows and procedures.

• Uphold high standards of attention to detail and organizational efficiency in daily tasks. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.

• Proficiency in account coding and invoice processing.

• Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and check run procedures.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Effective communication skills for vendor and team interactions.

• Familiarity with accounting software and tools is preferred.
