Description
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team in Opa Locka, Florida. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to lead warehouse operations and drive efficiency across logistics and inventory management. The ideal candidate will oversee a team of warehouse associates, manage inventory accuracy, and ensure compliance with company standards while fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage a team of warehouse associates, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate picking, packing, shipping, and receiving activities.
• Conduct cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy by reconciling discrepancies and tracking materials.
• Develop and optimize warehouse procedures to enhance operational efficiency and minimize errors.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, working closely with carriers, vendors, and internal departments.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies while maintaining compliance with organizational standards.
• Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics, providing regular updates to leadership.
• Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment and ensure the facility is clean, organized, and fully functional.
• Identify and implement cost-saving strategies in transportation, storage, and overall logistics operations.
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with prior experience supervising and developing warehouse staff.
• Strong understanding of inventory control practices, including cycle counts, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis of discrepancies.
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end shipping and receiving processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with internal teams, vendors, and carriers.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant warehouse environment.
