Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Westborough, Massachusetts. This role focuses on ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures. Responsibilities:

• Review and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.

• Perform account coding and verify invoice details for proper documentation.

• Execute ACH payments and manage check runs efficiently.

• Collaborate with vendors to resolve any discrepancies or payment issues.

• Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions.

• Assist with reconciling accounts and ensuring timely payment schedules.

• Support special projects as assigned, contributing to process improvements.

• Communicate effectively with internal departments to address invoice-related queries.

• Ensure adherence to financial controls and company policies. Requirements • Strong experience in accounts payable processes, including invoice coding and payment methods.

• Proficiency in handling ACH transactions and managing check runs.

• Familiarity with account coding and maintaining accurate financial records.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

• Effective communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams.

• Knowledge of accounting software and systems is preferred.

• Prior experience in a construction or contractor industry is a plus.
