    Description

    We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. This hybrid position is expected to go from early January through early April and offers a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and effective communication are essential to success.

    Responsibilities:

    • Calculate income tax details accurately to support form preparation and compliance.

    • Assist accounting department with reports, audit and tax preparation, and budget

    • Maintain records including journal entries, general ledgers, invoices and receipts

    • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and address high-volume tasks efficiently.

    • Utilize documents to verify, record and process transactions

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or related roles.

    • Familiarity with billing functions and accounting principles.

    • Experience with Excel, intermediate - VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables

    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage high-volume tasks.

    • Effective communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.

    • Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in all documentation.
