We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced and passionate individual to lead the creation of Delta's best-in-class Product Design & Development practice as part of our Digital Transformation. The selected candidate will champion this practice by creating top notch processes and assets, and coaching teams to learn and adopt best-in-class practices. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience strategizing cultural change and driving adoption in large-scale organizations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Create, articulate and champion a compelling vision for Product Design & Development methodologies can bring to our cross-divisional teams for the benefit of our Employees, Customers, and business outcomes. 2. Work across business, product, design, data, and product, tech and SME teams to build shared understanding, define priorities, and connect the dots between humans, technology, and business value. 3. Lead discovery-driven interventions with cross-functional teams. Design and run high-impact strategic workshops that accelerate clarity, build trust, and turn insight into shared direction. Coach teams on methods that generate early insight before major investments are committed 4. Create governance models, playbooks, and engagement models that help teams across the company adopt and adapt human-centered design at scale. 5. Work closely with our Best Practices, Learning and Org development team to scale design practices and talent across Delta 6. Partner with senior design, product, and digital leaders to steer portfolio strategy and elevate the design maturity of the organization.
Skills and Qualifications: • 10+ years proven experience in product, experience or strategic leadership roles, preferably in an industry that combines physical operations and Digital technology • Understanding of at least two of the following: Agile environment and Human-Centered Design, Design Thinking, and Service Design methodologies • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership abilities to build alignment and drive team success. • Excellent data-driven storytelling skills, able to convey the value and impact of products to various stakeholder and senior leader audiences. • Create buy-in using data-driven decision-making and strong analytical skills • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence and engage various stakeholders.
