    About the Company:

    We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for employees. Proficiency in ADP WorkForce Now and Paylocity is essential for success in this role. This is a contract role.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

    + Review and validate timesheets, wage calculations, deductions, and benefit contributions

    + Maintain up-to-date employee payroll records and respond to payroll-related inquiries

    + Prepare and distribute payroll reports and assist with audits as needed

    + Ensure compliance with company policies as well as state and federal guidelines

    + Support year-end processes, including W-2 and tax reporting

    + Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and improve processes

    Requirements

    Requirements:

    + 2+ years of payroll processing experience

    + Experience with payroll systems and Microsoft Excel

    + Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and confidentiality

    + Solid understanding of payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, and compliance standards

    + Excellent communication and customer service skills

    + Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience with automated/timekeeping systems or multi-state payroll a plus

    + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred

    + Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus
