    Job Summary:

    Lilly USA, LLC is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Director, Product Management to lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of our consumer companion app. This role will be instrumental in shaping the digital experience for our patients, enhancing engagement, and improving health outcomes through innovative mobile solutions.

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the consumer companion app, aligning with Lilly's overall digital health and patient engagement objectives.

    + Lead a team of product managers, designers, and engineers to complete the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features and improvements.

    + Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and user research to identify unmet patient needs, emerging trends, and opportunities for product differentiation.

    + Translate complex user needs and business requirements into clear, concise product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

    + Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including medical, regulatory, legal, marketing, IT, and commercial to ensure product compliance, market readiness, and successful launch.

    + Establish and monitor key performance indicators (critical metrics) for the app, analyzing data to identify insights, optimize user experience, and drive continuous improvement.

    + Lead the full product lifecycle from ideation and discovery through development, launch, optimization, and eventual sunsetting.

    + Serve as a primary advocate for the consumer companion app, communicating its value proposition and impact to internal collaborators and external partners.

    + Develop a culture of innovation, collaboration, and patient-centricity within the product team.

    + Handle budgets, resources, and vendor relationships related to app development and maintenance.

    Basic Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

    + 5+ years experience

    + Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role.

    Additional Preferences:

    + Masters Degree

    + Experience leading consumer-facing digital solutions.

    + Track record of successfully launching and scaling impactful digital products in a regulated industry, preferably healthcare or pharmaceuticals.

    + Familiarity with mobile app ecosystems (iOS, Android), modern product development methodologies (Agile/Scrum), and user-centered design principles.

    + Demonstrated ability to define and execute product strategy, build roadmaps, and manage a product backlog.

    + Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

    + Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

    + Experience with regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, FDA guidelines) in a digital health context is highly desirable.

    + Experience working with external partners, agencies, and technology vendors.

    + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

    Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is

     

    $154,500 - $248,600

     

    Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
