Outbound Product Manager, AI/ML Frameworks

Minimum qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

+ 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

+ 3 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within artificial intelligence or Machine Learning (AI or ML).

Preferred qualifications:

+ Master's degree in a technology or business related field.

+ 4 years of experience as a software developer, architect, technical advocate, consultant, community/product manager, or consultant working with various platforms.

+ Experience with coding/engineering.

+ Experience building go-to-market strategies, speaking at technology conferences, blogging/writing technical articles, or engaging with popular developer communities.

+ Experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and GenAI, with the ability to guide developers on the use of these technologies.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to share technical knowledge and information with others.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

In this role, you will work with teams developing foundational AI software, libraries, and critical developer tools (e.g., SDKs, CLIs, IDE integrations, MLOps solutions) for Google Cloud AI infrastructure. You will lead enhancements to model development, deployment, ML operations, and the integration of generative AI capabilities.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

+ Define the idea and strategy for a positive AI native developer experience across Google Cloud's AI/ML offerings, with a focus on optimizing workflows for accelerated compute.

+ Build and foster a vibrant external community ecosystem of influencers who can validate and amplify the AI native developer experience messages and extend reach beyond the ML framework communities like JAX, Keras, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.

+ Build content including demos, courses, sample applications, and best practice guides that showcase a frictionless developer experience for training, tuning, and inference workloads using technologies like JAX or PyTorch optimized for Google Cloud's AI infrastructure.

+ Lead go-to-market (GTM) motions that prominently feature Google Cloud's leading AI infrastructure and developer experience through events, product launches, campaigns, educational content, and community enablement.
