Position Summary

Catalent Pharma Solutions is hiring a Facility Maintenance Technician I. The Facility Maintenance Technician I performs maintenance required for all scheduled and emergency work orders and be accountable for completed paperwork and documentation required for each performed work order.
The Role
+ Demonstrate the ability to handle general maintenance repairs and responsibilities
+ Performs but not limited to: All building maintenance functions. This includes basic carpentry, equipment repairs and modifications
+ Performs equipment installations and assists other trades with those installations
+ Assists employees with moving into a new space and setting up their desk and equipment
+ Sets up conference rooms for meetings and social gatherings.
+ Assists the facilities maintenance technician II as needed
+ Assists the housekeeping staff as needed. This includes cleaning, emptying trash receptacles and patrolling the grounds to remove debris
+ Expertise in drywall repairs and painting. This includes large and small areas. Change light bulbs as needed
+ All other duties as assigned;
The Candidate
+ Required High School with a minimum of five years of related experience
+ Certified and licensed in forklift and high reach scissor lift operation is highly preferred
+ Demonstrate the ability and dexterity to use hand tools and power tools is a must
+ Perform all work in accordance with company policies and regulations contained in company GMP’s, safety standards and standard operating procedures highly desired
+ Good Computer Skills. Knowledge of MS Office and programs associated with the position desired
+ Good knowledge of the application of FDA cGMP’s is a must
+ Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
