Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant (Maternity Leave Coverage)

Pay Rate: $55/hour

Schedule: 37.5 hours/week (Full-Time)

Contract Length: January 5th - March 13th

(Potential extension through the end of the school year, but not guaranteed)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT)to provide short-term coverage for a maternity leave assignment. The OT willmanage a caseload of 56 students across two elementary schoolsand two kindergarten centers attached to these schools. This roleinvolves supporting students in autism programs, self-contained classrooms, andgeneral education settings.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform student evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans.

+ Provide direct therapy services and document progress according to the plan of care.

+ Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success.

Additional Information

+ Open to Part-Time candidates

+ OTAs will be considered

+ Experience working with children is preferred

Qualifications

+ Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Indiana

+ Minimum of 1 year of professional OT experience preferred

+ CPR certification (if applicable)

+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)

+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
