Schedule: Full-time | 3x12 (36 hrs) rotation
Shift: Nights | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Pay: $35/hour
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with adults and juveniles in custody, providing general and emergency nursing care within the Medical and Ambulatory section of the correctional facility. You’ll play a vital part in maintaining health standards while ensuring facility security protocols are upheld.
Key Responsibilities
+ Deliver routine and emergency nursing care to incarcerated individuals.
+ Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
+ Monitor patient health and document care accurately.
+ Collaborate with correctional officers and healthcare team to maintain safety and compliance.
Minimum Requirements
+ Current Practical Nursing License in the state of Florida.
+ One year of corrections experience preferred.
+ Current CPR certification.
+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray (as applicable).
+ Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation).
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
+ Must be at least 18 years of age.
