About the Opportunity

This is an open position with FirstEnergy Pennsylvania Electric Company, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. [ME]

This position is for a Utility Worker 2nd Class out of Gettysburg, PA.

Duties:

+ Under close and/or directive and/or general supervision, performs any of the less complicated duties of a Utility Man-1 st Class.

Qualifications:

+ Experience and education necessary to properly perform in a safe and efficient manner any duties so assigned.

+ Must have given satisfactory evidence that they possess the necessary qualifications to perform any duties soassigned.

+ High School Diploma or GED required

+ Must possess a valid automobile operator’s license and obtain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) within theprobationary period.

+ Must be thoroughly familiar with this Company’s Electrical and Mechanical Tagging Rules, where required.

+ Will be required to pass a pre-employment physical

+ Must be willing to work extra and/or irregular hours as required.
