    OVERVIEW

    The Packaging Loading Operator unloads and loads empty package materials.

    DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Operates fork-lift in a safe, efficient manner.

    + Unloads and loads empty package materials from trucks and railroad care.

    + Supplies packaging house with specified orders.

    + Hauls empty pallets and drums from packing house to specified area for shipment.

    + Obtains equipment from designated location before work and returns equipment when work is complete.

    + Performs all jobs in accordance with established safety practices and sanitation standards.

    WORK EXPERIENCES

    + Minimum of one year experience driving a forklift

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

    + High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

    ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES)

    + Ability to maneuver in a confined area.

    + Ability to coordinate hand and foot controls.

    + To operate equipment properly, to prevent property damage and minimum hazard to self and fellow workers.

    HOURLY RATE

    + Starting Rate$ 27.66

    + Paid vacation and sick time after probationary period.
