Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Technical Writer to join our team and create clear, accurate documentation that explains complex products and processes in a way that’s easy to understand. This role involves working closely with technical teams to turn detailed information into user-friendly content. The pay rate for this role is $25-28hr depending on years of experience.
- Write and maintain user guides, installation manuals, API documentation, FAQs, and other technical materials.
- Collaborate with engineers, developers, and product managers to gather accurate information.
- Use templates and style guides to keep documentation consistent.
- Adapt content for different audiences, from beginners to experts.
- Edit and proofread for clarity, grammar, and technical accuracy.
- Manage documentation projects and meet deadlines.
- Test documentation to ensure it’s easy to follow.

Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Technical Communication, Information Systems, Engineering, etc.).
- Previous experience as a technical writer, ideally in software or engineering.
- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to learn complex topics quickly.
- Familiarity with documentation tools, content management systems, and version control.
