As an HVAC Chiller Technician with Carrier, you will uniquely impact our customers, becoming the face of confidence, we stand by while ensuring their comfort. Your knowledge of Commercial HVAC will be critical in working on a variety of installations, repairs, and maintenance projects. What** **you’ll** **do

+ Participate in startup and commissioning of new units, applyingexpertiseto supporta state-of-the-artfacility.

+ Perform diagnostic tests, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions,and executeregularlyscheduledmaintenance on heating and cooling units.

+ Review and interpret regulatory requirements and technical documents, including blueprints and diagrams.

+ Cultivate strong customer relationships and ensuretimelyescalation ofissues forresolution when necessary.

+ Prioritize safety by adhering to licensing requirements, operating equipment safely, recognizing HVAC-related hazards, completing safety training, and implementing effective safety measures.

Required Quali** **fications:

+ Possess High School Diploma/GED

+ 7+yearsworking experience in theCommercialHVAC Industry

+ 2+ years working withair-cooledchillers

+ 1+ years working withcentrifugalchillers

+ EPA Universal

+ Ability topush/pull/lift up to 50lbs, climb a ladderandwork on rooftops

+ Ability to stand, crawl, sit, squat of extended period of times

+ Possess andmaintainvalid and current Driver’s License and be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier

Valued, but not** **required:

+ OSHA 30 Certification

+ Basic understanding of building automation controls (BOMAC)

+ 5+ years in water-cooled chiller experience

+ Experience with Steam Turbines

+ Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

+ Knowledge ofServiceMax

Pay Range

The hourly rate for this position is between **$48.70 - $109.90** per hour. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
