Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) has technology, engineering and program teams that educate and mentor colleagues to deliver leading Electronic Warfare capabilities. ECS s F-35 product line has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager I to join the Block 4 team. The program manager will support the growing F-35 development portfolio, and be responsible for overseeing various aspects of the development life cycle.

Experience & Skills:

+ Manages, coordinates, plans, organizes, controls, integrates, and executes a project or collection of projects.

+ Ensures achievement of financial, schedule, technical, and new business performance objectives.

+ Models and demonstrates strong leadership in ethics, safety and security

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

+ US Citizen, Secret Clearance with ability to achieve SAP/SAR.

+ Bachelor of Science degree.

+ Minimum 5 year of Defense Industry experience.

+ Program management experience or managing multiple contract awards.

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

+ Provide leadership and program management oversight of a project team assuring the project meets financials, schedule, and technical objectives, and achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.

+ Develop program/project plans specifying goals, staffing needs, schedule milestones, risks and contingency plans.

+ Direct program activities to meet work objectives and serves as a liaison with customers to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems.

+ Identify and mitigate risks and document program progress including implementation, timelines, issues, risks, quality and successes measures to meet contractual requirements.

+ Communicate with all levels of BAE Systems senior management regarding program performance status (cost / schedule / resources / risk) as well as performance to annual financial objectives.

+ Manage program scope and cost estimating, including estimate to complete/estimate at completion (ETC/EAC) processes.

+ Master of Science and/or MBA.

+ PMP certifications.

+ 7 year of Defense Industry experience.

+ Experience on Production programs

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
