    Please Note this position supports our 2** **nd** **Shift. You will be paid a 10% Pay Premium while working the 2** **nd** **Shift from 3:30PM to 2:00AM - 4/10 work week - Working Monday to Thursday every Friday off.

     

    Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

    We are seeking a Test Technician for our second shift manufacturing team.

    Key Roles and Responsibilities include:

    Performing routine and varied tasks to ensure that production standards are met.

     

    Sets up, calibrates, tests and troubleshoots production assemblies. Projects may range from simple to complex.

     

    Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures,

     

    standards, and sequences.

     

    Lays out and assembles units for production equipment according to designs and specifications.

     

    Adjusts and calibrates systems as needed.

     

    Modifies equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams

     

    and sketches.

     

    Corrects malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as directed.

     

    Uses hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties.

     

    May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

     

    High School Diploma or GED and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience.

     

    Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings diagrams, hardware specifications, schematics,

     

    or written work instructions.

     

    Must work well with a team.

     

    Experience in using Excel.

     

    Secret Clearance

     

    Working knowledge of electronic theory and components

     

    Experience in microelectronics and RF testing.

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills

    + High School Diploma or GED and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience.

    + Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings diagrams, hardware specifications, schematics, or written work instructions.

    + Must work well with a team.

    + Experience in using Excel.

    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

    + Secret Clearance

    + Working knowledge of electronic theory and components

    + Experience in microelectronics and RF testing.

     

    Pay Information

     

    Full-Time Salary Range: $46680 - $74687

     

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
