Hours: 40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Workers will feed, water, and care for cattle; herd cattle to winter lots; maintain heated water systems; maintain cattle equipment; perform snow removal; and maintain snow-removal equipment. Workers will haul hay from fields to winter lots and assist with basic animal-health procedures, including vaccinations and calving. Additional duties include repairing and maintaining fencing and general farm maintenance.
Drug Testing: After hire, workers may be subject to random drug testing at no cost to the worker. A positive test or refusal to comply may result in termination.
### Minimum Education Required
No High School Diploma or GED required
### Minimum Experience Required
Minimum of 1 month of verifiable livestock experience.
Must obtain a driver’s license within 30 days of hire; some duties may require a clean driving record to operate company vehicles.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Work requires extensive pushing and pulling and the ability to perform repetitive, physically demanding tasks.
Exposure to extreme temperatures and outdoor conditions.
Workers must be responsible, follow instructions, and comply with attendance and work schedules.
Must be able to speak English.
Workers must follow all biosecurity, food-safety, and company policies.

### Additional Compensation
As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Exceptional performance may be rewarded at the employer’s discretion.

### Job Benefits
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
