The Role at a Glance
As a **Tech Drafter** , you will be an integral part of a Spares & Supply Chain Engineering team, supporting multiple commercial programs across various aerospace sites. This entry-level, full-time consultant role focuses on producing protective removable equipment (PRE), paint stencils, premask materials, and 3D components used directly on aircraft—work that matters every day.
What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day)
+ Communicate with customers, team members, and project managers to support production needs
+ Manufacture aircraft paint stencils, PRE, premask, and 3D PRE components
+ Perform quality inspections on premask, stencils, and mylar products
+ Package finished parts for shipment to customers
+ Create and produce temporary aircraft registration numbers using latex printers
+ Correctly identify materials required for each job
+ Support inventory tracking and just-in-time (JIT) ordering
+ Safely team-lift materials up to 45 lbs to load equipment
+ Work onsite daily with regular and predictable attendance
Software & Equipment You’ll Use:
iCut Production Console, Summa GoProduce, Summa Axis Control, SummaFlex, CorelDraw, Redars, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Ultimaker Cura, CATIA V5, flatbed plotters, drum cutters, and 3D printers.

+ **Job Type:** Full-Time, Consultant (6-month assignment)
+ **Location:** Long Beach, CA
+ **Schedule:** Monday through Friday, First Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Qualifications
Required
+ High School diploma or higher **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.**
Preferred
+ Experience manufacturing paint premask, stencils, or protective removable equipment (PRE)
+ Experience producing 3D parts utilizing 3D printers
+ Experience operating flatbed plotters and drum cutters

**Pay Details:** $27.00 to $31.00 per hour
