    Salary Range: $83,700.00 - $94,600.00

     

    *As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices

    Position Summary

    Weill Cornell Medicine is seeking Master’s-level clinicians (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) for a full-time role as an EAP Clinician to provide short-term, solution-focused, time-limited counseling and organizational services for its employees and household members.

    Job Responsibilities

    + Provide virtual and in-person solution-focused, time-limited counseling

    + Create and deliver virtual and in-person wellness trainings

    + Conduct Critical Incident Response organizational support groups and 1:1 support on-site or virtually to work groups who have experienced a disruptive incident/loss

    + Provide management consultation to supervisors, managers, HR professionals on how to support work groups

    + Participate in program promotion activities

    + Take on additional projects as directed by the Clinical Director as needed

    Education

    + Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy

    Experience

    + Training and experience in assessment, referral, and short-term counseling modalities (e.g., CBT, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, DBT, etc.)

    + Training in therapy with adolescents and couples therapy strongly desirable

    + Flexibility on working hours to accommodate organizational emergencies that must be staffed off hours (e.g., at times when staff is not typically scheduled to work – early morning, mid- or late-evening, etc.)

    + Ability to create content for webinars & seminars based on research from reputable and documented source material

    + Optional: Bilingual in Spanish

    + Optional: experience working in hospitals

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    + Ability to provide effective counseling and support to work groups.

    + Display excellent organizational and time management skills.

    + Willingness to occasionally work in early morning or early evening on campuses in NYC, Westchester, Hudson Valley or Long Island (before or after scheduled work hours) to support work groups.

    Licenses and Certifications

    + Licensed as LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York

    + Willingness to become licensed in NJ, CT and PA

    Working Conditions/Physical Demands

    + Ability to work from home and on-site

    + Willingness to travel locally to various campuses/sites
