The Role

Proofpoint seeks a strategic and innovative Staff Product Marketing Manager to lead product marketing for Proofpoint Satori™, our groundbreaking agentic AI security platform. In this high-impact role, you will be the subject matter expert and primary evangelist for Proofpoint Satori Agents and Satori MCP Access, driving the narrative for how AI agents transform security operations while safeguarding the emerging agentic workspace.

As the market leader defining the future of agentic security operations, you'll craft compelling positioning that resonates with CISOs, SOC leaders, data loss prevention teams, and security awareness professionals. You will partner closely with product management, sales, alliance partners (Microsoft, CrowdStrike), and marketing to build comprehensive Go-to-Market (GTM) plans and execute them through high-impact content, thought leadership, and strategic enablement that drives business growth. This is a unique opportunity to shape an entirely new category at the intersection of AI and cybersecurity, establishing Proofpoint as the thought leader in AI-powered security operations for the agentic workspace.

Your Day to Day

+ Develop strategic positioning and messaging for Proofpoint Satori Agents and Satori MCP Access that demonstrates how Satori acts as a force multiplier for security teams and delivers seamless integration across the security ecosystem

+ Drive the thought leadership strategy for Satori, establishing Proofpoint as the pioneer in agentic security operations through vision papers, analyst relations, executive briefings, and market-defining content

+ Create high-impact content across formats such as solution briefs, webinars, presentations, demo scripts, blogs, and customer materials that showcase the measurable business value delivered by the solution

+ Lead cross-functional GTM planning and execution for Satori Agent launches and MCP Access integrations with strategic partners

+ Deliver compelling presentations to internal and external audiences at sales trainings, customer briefings, industry conferences, and executive events

+ Conduct market and competitive intelligence research, becoming the go-to expert on the market landscape for Satori and alternatives

+ Develop comprehensive sales and partner enablement, including battlecards, playbooks, ROI calculators, and objection handling that drives pipeline and accelerates deals

What you bring to the team

+ 10+ years of product marketing experience in cybersecurity, preferably with expertise in security operations, data security, or AI/ML-powered security solutions

+ Deep cybersecurity domain knowledge with a preference for expertise in one or more of the following areas: SOC, SIEM, email security, data security, or security. - Exceptional storytelling and content creation skills with proven ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences

+ Outstanding presentation and public speaking abilities for executive briefings to large conference keynotes

+ Strategic thought leader with a proven track record of defining new product categories or establishing market leadership in emerging technologies

+ Analytical, execution-oriented mindset managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments BS/BA required (technical concentration preferred); MBA a plus

Consistent with Proofpoint values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets as set out below. Pay within these ranges varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. The range provided may represent a candidate range and may not reflect the full range for an individual tenured employee. This role may be eligible for variable compensation and/or equity. We offer a competitive benefits package, including flexible time off, a comprehensive well-being program with two paid Wellbeing Days and two paid Volunteer Days per year, plus a three-week Work from Anywhere option.

Base Pay Ranges:

SF Bay Area, New York City Metro Area:

Base Pay Range: 182,175.00 - 267,190.00 USD

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska:

Base Pay Range: 146,550.00 - 214,940.00 USD

All other cities and states excluding those listed above:

Base Pay Range: 132,975.00 - 195,030.00 USD
